IF YOU DON’T WANT TO USE ALEXA
Push the microphone on/off button on top of the Amazon Echo
device. Once this is done, you will notice a red bar on the screen
of the Echo device with display or a red light on the light ring of
the Echo device without display. Until you turn on the microphone
by pressing the button again, Alexa will not respond to your
requests. The camera on Echo device with display is always
disabled, even if the camera cover of the device is open.
